What the inspector wrote

Due to this being a repeat violation Civil Penalties are being assessed. See LIC421FC. Based on LPA observations and interview which were conducted on 6/02/22, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED . California Code of Regulations (Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8), are being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. Exit interview conducted and a copy of this report and appeal rights provided

    8730387303 Maintenance and Operation(a) The facility shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times. Maintenance shall include provision of maintenance services and procedures for the safety and well-being of residents, employees and visitors. This regulation is not being meet by observation of the doors to the independent living building. The doors must be manually opened manually which posed a potential threat to the safety of the residents in care.
