05/20/2024 10:00 AM An informal conference was conducted today via TEAMS. The purpose of this informal conference meeting was to discuss the high volume of complaints that have been submitted against the facility. Present in the meeting today were Licensing Program Manager, Lauren Crocker, Licensing Program Analysts Donna Gurriere and Rebecca Knight, Prestige Oroville Executive Director Sonya Gonzales, and Prestige Regional Manager Gary Allinger. Issues discussed during the meeting were: · Volume of complaints. · Pattern of repeat allegations. · Relationships and communication with residents and their families. · Resident & family council. · Family & resident liaison. · Resources & education. The facility has stated they will do the following to achieve continued and substantial compliance: · Recruit a staff member who will serve as liaison with families and residents and participate in family and resident council meetings. · Review CDSS website for materials that can be shared with residents and their families for educational purposes. No deficiencies were cited as a result of the meeting.
