What the inspector wrote

On 12/08/2022 at 10:35AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) L. Hall arrived unannounced to conduct an Infection Control Inspection. LPA met with Noupane Temple, Administrator and explained the purpose of the visit. Upon entry, LPA's temperature was not checked. LPA did not observe screening station. LPA toured facility including but not limited to common areas, bathrooms, bedrooms, back yard, kitchen, and garage. LPA observed cough etiquette and physical distancing posted in the common areas. All hand washing stations were equipped with soap and paper towel. Hand washing posters were posted at hand washing stations. Hot water temperature in the shared clients’ bathroom was measured at 127.7 degrees Fahrenheit. Fire extinguisher last serviced on 9/16/2022. There is a minimum of 2-day perishables foods and 7-day non-perishables foods. During record review, LPA observed visitors sign-in log. LPA observed facility has a copy of the Infection Control Plan on file. LPA observed food and paper supplies are sufficient. Continued on LIC809C. Continued from LIC809. LPA request the following documents to be submitted to CCLD by 12/15/2022. LIC610E Emergency Disaster Plan LIC500 Personnel Report Updated facility sketch. The following deficiencies was observed: At 11:00AM, LPA observed 2 sheds in the back yard, garden tools sitting on table, and a gallon of paint in the back yard. At 11:10AM, LPA observed R1 and R2 having hospital beds with no doctor orders The following deficiencies was observed (see LIC 809D) and cited from the California Code of Regulations, Title 22. Failure to correct deficiencies may result in Civil Penalties. Exit interview conducted. A copy of this report and appeal rights provided.
