What the inspector wrote

On 05/05/2026 at 10:50 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) David Doidge and arrived announced to conduct a pre-licensing visit. LPAs met with Administrator Monique Mijares and explained the purpose of the visit. The facility’s fire clearance was approved for six (6) non-ambulatory clients, one of which may be bedridden. There are currently three (3) residents in the facility. LPA toured the facility including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, common area, garage and backyard, no bodies of water present. The facility consists of six (6) total bedrooms and two (2) bathrooms and two (2) half bathrooms. All indoor passageways are kept free of obstruction. A comfortable temperature for clients is maintained at 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Hot water temperature in the shared clients’ bathroom was measured at 120 degrees Fahrenheit. All toilets, hand washing, and bathing are safe, sanitary and in operating condition. Paper towels, and soap observed at all hand-washing stations. The supply of extra hygiene was available for clients. There are a minimum of 7-day non-perishables and 2-day perishables foods. Smoke detectors/carbon monoxide were in operating condition during visit. Fire extinguisher was last serviced on 12/12/2025. Emergency Disaster Plan was last updated and posted on 03/03/2026. First aid kit was observed to be complete. No Issues noted during inspection. LPA observed that facility is ready to be licensed. This report will be submitted to the Central Applications Bureau (CAB) and a final review of the application will be conducted. This facility is ready to be licensed and is subject to final approval by CAB. Additional requirements may still be required. Exit interview conducted and a copy of this report provided.
