What the inspector wrote

On 2/03/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Medina conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection. LPA arrived, stated purpose of visit, and allowed entrance by Direct Care Staff. Present at time of arrival was Administrator, Charise Canlas. Administrators, Joseph Gitti and Harmeen Jhutti arrived a short time later. Facility tour, conducted with Charise Canlas. Facility observed to be clean, well lit, and a comfortable temperature, All common areas have adequate seating available for residents in care. Resident bedrooms toured, all bedrooms observed to have required furnishings available. Resident bathroom toured, bathroom observed to have grab bars near toilet. Showers observed to have shower chairs, grab bars, and skid-resistant mats available for residents. Water temperature measured at 106 degrees F. Kitchen toured, LPA observed a 2-day supply of perishable food available and a 7-day supply of non-perishable food available. All sharps are locked and secured in kitchen drawer. Medications observed to be locked and secured in kitchen cabinet. Medications reviewed, observed to have original labels and to be administered as prescribed. Outside of facility toured. Facility observed to have outside seating available for residents. Pool is surrounded by a locked gate and inaccessible to residents. All exits observed to be free of obstruction. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors observed operational at time of inspection. Fire extinguisher present with a service date of 1/08/2026. Last fire drill conducted December 2025 according to facility records. Staff and resident files reviewed. Exit interview conducted. A copy of report provided for facility records. No deficiencies cited.
