What the inspector wrote

On 2/03/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Medina conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection. LPA arrived, introduced self, state purpose of visit, and allowed entrance by Caregiver. LPA met with Harmeen Jhutti and Charise Canlas to conduct today's inspection. Currently, four (4) residents in care, all were at day program at time of inspection. Residents attend day program Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Facility tour conducted both inside and outside with Charise Canlas. Facility observed to be clean, well lit, and a comfortable temperature. All common areas of the facility observed to have adequate seating available. Resident bedrooms observed to be clean and have all required furnishings available. LPA observed extra linens available in resident bedrooms and in cabinets. Resident bathroom toured, bathroom equipped with grab bars in toilet area. Showers observed to have grab bars, shower chairs and slip resistant mats available. Water temperature measured at 106 degrees F. Kitchen toured, LPA observed a 2-day supply of perishable food and 7-day supply of non-perishable food available. All sharps observed to be locked and secured in the kitchen cabinet. Medications observed to be locked and secured. Medications observed to have original labels and to be administered as prescribed. Outside of facility toured. Facility has a shaded area and seating available for residents in care. All exits open free of obstruction. No hazards observed. Staff and resident files reviewed. Smoke detector and carbon monoxide detectors observed operational during inspection. Last fire drill conducted December 2025 and Emergency Disaster drill on 1/12/2026. Exit interview conducted and a copy of report provided for facility records. No deficiencies cited.
