Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Daiquiri Boyd conducted the complaint investigation visit to the facility. During the course of this investigation LPA reviewed facility files relevant to the complaint investigation. It was determined that the above allegations: staff inappropriately threw resident's medication away and staff did not ensure resident received all their belongings, are UNFOUNDED. Administrator disposed of two days of medications after being notified the resident was not returning to the facility. LPA observed all of residents belongings on their bed, awaiting family to retreive them. This agency has investigated the complaint alleging that staff inappropriately threw resident's medication awar and staff did not ensure resident received all their belongings. We have found that the complaint was unfounded, therefore we have dismissed the complaint.
