What the inspector wrote

On 4/16/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Daiquiri Boyd made an unannounced visit to the facility for the purpose of conducting and Annual Inspection. LPA was granted access to the facility by staff, who then called the Administrator (AD), Sasheila Grice, who arrived shortly after. LPA spoke with AD regarding regulation questions. LPA was able to assist AD with looking up documents on the CCLD website. LPA toured the facility with AD. Living room has reclining chairs and is clean and comfortable for all residents. Facility has an electric fireplace that has proper safeguards to protect residents. There is adequate lighting. LPA observed 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each room contained appropriate fixtures and lighting. Beds were clean and linens were clean. Hall closet contained linens and towels. A second, locked hall closet contained personal hygiene items. Laundry room is located off the front entry hall and contains a locked closet that stores chemicals. LPA toured backyard and observed ample covered seating with enough room for all residents. Water temperature was measured at 107.8 degrees F. Fire extinguisher in dining room was serviced on 02/05/2025. LPA did not have enough time to complete the inspection on this day. LPA will return at a later time to complete this inspection. No citations were issued on this day. A copy of this report was left at the facility with AD. AD's signature on this report confirms it's receipt.
