Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Katie Brown arrived unannounced to conduct thePost Licensing Inspection. LPA met with and explained the reason for the visit with Administrator (AD) Hripsime Makaryan and Licensee (Lic.) Arthur Arakelyan. During this visit, LPA toured the facility inside & out. Required postings were hung as required. Resident bedrooms and common areas were clean, in good repair and contained the required furnishings and lighting. LPA observed required items in bathrooms with faucets delivering hot water. LPA observed resident’s hygiene items, paper products, towels, bedding and linens which are available for use. The kitchen was clean, with necessary items and appliances. LPA observed the required food supply. Medications are centrally stored in a locked cabinet. Cleaning/disinfecting supplies and chemicals are locked. Doors and passageways are unobstructed throughout the home. The pool gate was locked and fence meets height requirements. There are covered seating areas and furniture in the back yard. LPA, AD and Lic discussed and reviewed the following facility procedures which are in place: Admission, medication (process, storage, pharmacy, documentation), employee training, emergency preparedness, infection control, food storage, facility grounds requirements and staffing requirements. During this visit LPA conducted resident and employee file reviews and a medication audit. There were no citations issued during this inspection. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was signed and provided
