What the inspector wrote

On 4/19/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Medina conducted an unannounced Annual Required inspection. LPA contacted Jerry Yatco by telephone to meet with LPA, Jasmin Yatco arrived to conduct visit. Currently there are five (5) residents in placement. All residents were present during the facility visit. Three residents were in the family room watching television, the other residents were in the their bedroom. Facility tour was conducted with Licensee, Jasmin Yatco. Facility observed to be clean, odor free, well lit, and a comfortable temperature. All common areas in the facility have adequate seating available for residents and visitors. Resident bedrooms toured and observed to have all required furnishings. Resident bathrooms were toured and observed to be clean and fixtures observed operational. Non-skid mats are present in the tubs and showers, there are also shower chairs available for residents. Hot water measured at 109 degrees F. LPA toured the kitchen. Pantry & refrigerator/freezer contains a 7 day supply of non perishable & 2 day supply of perishable food. Knives observed to be locked in a kitchen cabinet. Medications are stored in a locked hall cabinet. Medications observed to have original labels and to be administered as prescribed. Centrally Stored Medication log also reviewed. First Aid kit observed to have all required items present. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors observed operational during today's inspection. Fire extinguisher present with a purchase date of 7/12/2024. All chemicals observed to be locked and secured. The outside of facility toured and no hazards observed. Facility has a covered patio with seating available for residents. Emergency exit from backyard observed to open and be self-latching. Staff and resident files were reviewed. LPA requested the following documents to be submitted to Fresno Regional Office no later than Friday, May 2, 2025: Copy of Liability Insurance, LIC500, LIC 9020 and LIC610e. No deficiencies observed. A copy of report provided for facility records.
