What the inspector wrote

On 4/13/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Medina conducted an unannounced Annual Required inspection. LPA arrived, introduced self, stated purpose of visit and allowed entrance by direct care staff. Licensees Jerry Yatco and Jasmin Yatco contacted by telephone by direct care staff to advise of facility visit and arrived a short time later to meet with LPA. . Facility tour conducted with Administrator, facility observed to be clean, odor free, well lit and a comfortable temperature. Currently there are four (4) residents in placement. All residents were present during the facility visit. All residents observed to be seated in the family room watching television. Resident tour began in resident bedrooms, all bedrooms observed to have required furnishings available for residents. Resident bathrooms were toured and observed to have operational fixtures. Both toilet and shower areas observed to have grab bars available. Showers observed to have slip resistant mats, and shower chairs for residents. Water temperature measured at 115 degrees F. All common areas in the facility have adequate seating available for residents and visitors. Kitchen toured, all sharps observed to be locked and secured. Facility observed to have a 2-day supply of perishable food and a 7-day supply of non-perishable food available. The refrigerator temperature observed to be 39 degrees and freezer temperature at 0 degrees F. Food containers in refrigerator observed to be properly stored and labeled at time of visit. Medications are stored and locked hall cabinet. Medications observed to have original labels and to be administered as prescribed. First Aid kit observed to have all required items present. Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors observed operational during today's inspection. Fire extinguisher present with a purchase date of 1/04/2026. Staff and resident files reviewed. The outside of facility toured and no hazards observed. Facility has a covered patio with seating available for residents. Emergency exit from backyard observed to be free from obstruction. No deficiencies observed. A copy of report provided for facility records.
