What the inspector wrote

On 03/07/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Medina conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection. LPA introduced self, stated purpose of visit, and allowed entrance by direct care staff. Licensees/Administrators, Rodelio Roura and Olivia Roura were present at time of LPA arrival. Facility is a 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. Currently, there are four (4) residents in care. All residents were present during today's inspection. Facility observed to be in clean, in good repair, well lit, and observed to be a comfortable temperature. All resident bedrooms observed to be fully furnished. Bathrooms toured, showers observed to have shower chairs, grab bars, and non-skid mats available. Toilet area also observed to have grab bars. LPA observed fixtures to be operational, water temperature measured in bathroom at 107 degrees F. Kitchen toured, facility observed to have adequate food supply for residents in care. All sharps observed to be locked and secured in kitchen drawer. Cleaning supplies are locked and secured under sink and inaccessible to residents. Laundry room is also locked, secured, and inaccessible to residents. Medications observed to be locked and secured in hallway cabinet. All medications observed to have original labels and to be administered as prescribed by physician. Fire extinguisher present with a purchase date of 4/04/2024 . Carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector observed operational during inspection. LPA reviewed Disaster and Emergency Manual. Outside of facility toured. Pool surrounded by a locked and secured wrought iron fence and inaccessible to residents. All emergency exits open free of obstruction. Staff and resident file reviewed. Exit interview conducted. A copy of this report provided for facility records.
