What the inspector wrote

On 7/17/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Medina conducted an announced Pre-licensing inspection. LPA introduced self, stated the purpose of the visit, and was allowed entrance into the facility. LPA met with Administrator, Christian Marsy and Licensee Representative, Antoinette Sillas. . The facility is 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms home. Fire clearance was granted for 6 residents, 5 non- ambulatory and up to 1 bedridden residents. Currently, there are 5 residents in care. Facility observed to clean, odor free, and a comfortable temperature. Common areas observed to be furnished and have adequate seating and lighting available. All bedrooms were observed to have required furnishings. Bathrooms toured, fixtures observed operational. Grab bars available and skid-resistant surfaces in showers observed. Kitchen was toured and observed to have pots, pans, plates, cups and utensils. Facility has a 2-day of perishable and a 7-day supply of non-perishable food available as of date of inspection. Knives observed to be locked and secured and stove knobs observed to be removed. Medication observed to be locked and secured in medication room. Cleaning supplies and chemicals are locked and secured under kitchen sink and in laundry room. Fire extinguisher present with a service date of 9/18/2024. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors were observed to be operational during this inspection. Water temperature measured at 117 degrees F. Facility has a working telephone of (661) 615-3054. . Outside of facility toured. Facility has a covered patio with seating available. Exits open free of obstruction. . Gate observed to be self-latching. Component III conducted during pre-licensing inspection. Pre-Licensing is complete and this facility has no deficiencies Exit interview conducted. A copy of this report was provided to Administrator for facility records.
