What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA)'s Shawna Doucette and Jimmy Duarte arrived to the facility announced to conduct the Pre licensing visit. LPA's met with Administrator Perla Pena who granted LPA's entry into the facility. LPA's toured facility. Common rooms have adequate furnishings and lighting. All of the resident apartments have all the required furnishings and adequate lighting. Hot water temperature was measured in a sample of resident bathrooms in memory care and assisted living measuring between 105.2 and 113.4 degrees F. Kitchen observed to have dishes, plates, utensils. Cleaning supplies are stored in a locking storage room. Facility has two day / seven day supply of food. Medications are locked in a medication cart. First aid kit contains all the required items. A fire extinguisher is present and has a service date of 03/21/2025. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide were operating. Fire clearance is current Outside of the facility toured. Exits open free of obstruction. The residence has a delay egress which sounds the indoor alarm for memory care. No outside hazards were observed. No pools or bodies of water. All required postings are posted. Facility phone number will be (661) 447-4800. Sample of resident and staff records were checked. Component III was conducted during pre-licensing visit with Applicants. No deficiencies. I have found that applicant has met all pre licensing requirements. LPA will submit documentation to CAB in Sacramento for final review prior to license being issued.
