What the inspector wrote

In regards to the allegation Staff are complaining to the resident about family concerns, based on interviews and information gathered resident's stated there has not been any situations where staff told them that their family or visitors are bothering them about their concerns. Staff interviewed stated that they have not complained to any residents about their family or visitors concerns. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. In regards to the allegation Staff are taking things out of the residents room, based on interviews conducted and information gathered residents stated that there has not been anything taken from their rooms. They have not seen or heard of staff doing this. Staff interviewed stated that Resident 1 had moved out of his room and there was trash still there and a radio was left behind. Staff stated they did not know that it belonged to Resident 1, but once made aware returned it. He had thought it was Resident 1's roommate who had passed away. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
