Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Trueman made an unannounced visit to the facility and was greeted by Administrator Maria Jacobo and explained the reason for the visit. The purpose of the visit is to deliver the findings from the original complaint dated 2/18/22 At initial visit the following was done: On 2/24/2022 from 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM Resident's 1-9 and Staff Maria Jacobo were interviewed. In regards to the allegation Residents smoke inside of facility, based on interviews conducted and information gathered it was revealed that there are residents smoking pot on the outside courtyard. Four of the residents stated they have witnessed residents smoking pot and also have smelled it on courtyard. One resident confirmed that he does smoke pot on the facility courtyard. Based on LPAs observations and interviews which were conducted the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be substantiated. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6 and Chapter 8 is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D.

This poses an immediate Health and safety Risk to residents iin care.
