What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Angela Panushkina conducted unannounced visit to this facility in conjunction with a complaint control #31-AS-20260203081859 . LPA met with the Designee and explained the reason for the visit. During the visit, the Designee informed LPA that the facility's current census is seven (7). LPA conducted physical plant tour and confirmed that there are seven (7) residents currently residing here. LPA conducted review of facility license, issued on 06/13/2025, and observed that the facility had been approved for a maximum capacity of six (6) residents. Per the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8, deficiencies are cited and noted on LIC 809D. Exit interview conducted, appeal rights and copy of report signed and delivered.

Based on LPAs observation and interviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by accepting the 7th resident, while the facility is licensed for capacity of six (6) only. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
