What does Type A vs Type B mean?
Type A. Serious citation. Imminent or substantial risk to children. The regulator requires corrective action immediately and may impose a civil penalty.
Type B. Lower-severity citation. Corrective action required, no imminent risk. The regulator monitors compliance on the next visit.

87705 (5) Each resident with dementia shall have an annual medical assessment as specified in Section 87458, Medical Assessment, and a reappraisal done at least annually, both of which shall include a reassessment of the resident’s dementia care needs. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not have up to date medical assessments and reappraisal for (R1-R4).
