What the inspector wrote

On 11/20/22025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Wendy Gibbs, conducted an unannounced Case Management- Other visit for an increase of capacity. LPA met with Administrator/Licensee Ke Sun, and the purpose of today’s visit was explained. LPA was granted entry into the facility. The facility was licensed to serve six (6) non-ambulatory residents aged 60 and over and have an approved hospice waiver for four (4). An LIC200 Change of Capacity was submitted to the department on 07/15/2025 for an increase of capacity. On 10/14/2025, the department received an approved Fire Safety Inspection Request from the Torrance Fire Department. The facility has been approved for eight (8) non-ambulatory residents, two (2) of which may be bedridden. During today’s visit, LPA inspected the facility and observed the facility has five bedrooms and eight (8) beds in place for residents. All rooms have the required furniture including dresser(s), nightstand(s), chair(s), and ample storage space for resident’s personal belongings. All rooms are compliant with Title 22 regulations. No deficiencies were observed or cited. An exit interview was conducted with Administrator/Licensee Ke Sun, and a copy of this report was provided.
