In regards to the allegation: Resident was molested while in care. The department's interview with Resident #1 indicated that Resident #1 had no recollection of staff abuse or mistreatment and had no negativity towards the facility or staff members. Interviews with 5 of 5 different Residents indicate they have never heard or witnessed any Residents who had been a victim of sexual or physical abuse in the facility nor were they ever a victim of abuse. Interviews with 5 of 5 staff also indicate that they have never heard or witnessed any Residents who had been molested in the facility or have they ever molested a Resident. Based on the department's interviews and record review, investigation revealed: Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. A telephonic exit interview was conducted with Suzie (Preciosa) Magpayo and a copy of this report was provided via email for signature.
