At approximately 11:00AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Chris Arnhold arrived at this facility unannounced, to conduct a case management visit in regards to an SOC341, Report of Suspected Dependent Adult/Elder Abuse, submitted to CCL on 02/12/2024. LPA met with Administrator Theresa Jones and reviewed records. The purpose of the SOC341 was to report a possible financial abuse situation with a resident. Resident has been giving money to people they meet on the internet. Napa County Adult Protective Services has investigated the situation. LPA reviewed residents physician report and care plan. Resident has capacity and is able to make their own decisions and is able to leave the grounds freely. Resident makes their own financial decisions. Facility will continue to meet with resident to discuss better uses for their money and other ways to meet people. LPA received copies of documents. No citations issued during today's visit.
