Licensing Program Analyst Michelle Reed arrived at the facility to conduct a case management visit. The purpose of the visit was to check on the communication between Resident #1 and her family. Upon arrival, LPA met with Staff Arnell Lopez and Stephanie Magana. Administrator Sonia Garcia was contacted and she arrived a short time later. R1 was interviewed and she stated that does speak with all of her family and she can make phone calls when she wants. R1 has a landline in her room that was working at the time of this visit. The phone also has an answering machine. Ms. Garcia stated to LPA that she does understand that all residents have a personal right to facetime their family and friends and that she has an ipad residents can use. Staff stated that they know how to use the ipad. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided.
