Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kimberly Lyman conducted an unannounced case management visit to follow up on an incident report/ SOC 341 received on 02/07/2021. LPA identified herself and discussed the purpose of the visit with Executive Director Johanna Gonzalez. Soc 341 indicated that Resident 1 (R1) reported that an agency caregiver spoke to the resident in an inappropriate way. Facility notified the agency and advised that the staff (S1) would not be allowed to return to the facility. Newport Beach Police were called but R1 refused to speak with them. During the visit, LPA spoke with R1. R1 refused to disclose the inappropriate comment made by S1. R1 verbalized feeling safe in the community as well as satisfaction with facility caregivers. No further investigation required. Exit interview conducted and a copy of this report was left at the facility.
