Safe, healthful, comfortable accommodations
The California Code of Regulations 87468.1(a)(2) on Personal Rights of Residents in All Facilities states that (a) Residents (...) shall have all of the following personal rights:(2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Upon arriving at the facility, LPA observed smoke detectors being triggered across the entire facility by cooking fumes. This constitute a potential risk to the health, safety and personal rights of the individuals in care.
