What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Vanegas conducted an unannounced inspection for the purposes of conducting an annual inspection upon arrival LPA Vanegas was greeted and granted entry to the facility by Care Giver Maura Demapan and LPA Vanegas explained the purpose for the inspection. LPA Vanegas set up equipment and began a tour of the facility and observed the following. This is a one storied home with six bedrooms one of which is a staff room, and five of which are for residents in care. The facility also has a total of three bathrooms one of which is for staff and visitors, and two bathrooms that are for resident use. There is also an attached two car garage LPA Vanegas observed the kitchen are to be clean and free of any mildew and debris, LPA observed there to be a microwave, gas stove, dish washer, refrigerator, washer, and dryer to be in good repair and all tested operational. LPA Vanegas observed there to be a two day supply of perishable food and a seven day supply of non-perishable food on hand, as well as a sufficient amount of emergency water. LPA Vanegas observed all sharps, toxins, and medications to be locked away and inaccessible to residents in care. LPA Vanegas observed all restrooms to be clean and free of any mildew or debris. LPA Vanegas observed all restrooms to have required furnishings such as slip resistant floor matts, grab bars, and shower chairs. LPA Vanegas observed water faucets and toilets to be operational. Water temperature tested between and degrees. LPA Vanegas advised that due to time constraints LPA would need to return at a later date to complete the annual inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Car Giver Salvador Urayenza and a copy of this report was provided to the facility.
