Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

9 of 12 individuals provided information that contradicts the complaint allegation. When Resident 2 (R2) was asked if they felt they have privacy, R2 said, Yeah… for a house. Resident 4 (R4) was also asked about privacy and said, Umm… Yeah, I say so. Four of five staff members all agree that the residents have privacy. One staff member’s response could not be used to support or deny the allegation. Based on the information gathered during the investigation through interviews and observation, the Department is unable to ascertain if the allegations occurred as reported. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove or refute the alleged violations occurred; therefore, the allegations are deemed unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided.
