What the inspector wrote

Both Administrators confirmed gym equipment was thrown out by mistake when facility was going through clean up/construction couple months ago. AD Epi stated they have offered to reimbursed the resident for failing to safeguard R1's personal property (gym equipment). Based on the information gathered the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore, the allegation, facility staff is not safeguarding resident's personal items, is found to be Substantiated. Violation is being cited per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report along with citation and Appeal Rights was sent to email on file.
