What the inspector wrote

On 05/09/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cheyenne Ratajczak conducted a Pre-licensing Inspection and met with Applicant Gurinder Sandhu. The facility has a fire clearance (03/21/2025) for six (6) bedridden residents. Facility has no residents at this time. Applicant holds a current administrator certificate (# 7016763740 with expiration date 07/29/2026.) During today's inspection, LPA and Applicant conducted a tour of the interior and exterior of the facility to ensure there is no immediate health, safety and personal rights violation. LPA conducted a tour of two (2) shared bedrooms, two (2) private bedrooms, four (4) bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen, backyard, and common areas. Bathrooms were in sanitary condition and properly maintained. Hot water temperature was observed to be 113.2 degrees F. LPA observed facility has the ability to prepare and store food, to lock away cleaning products and other toxins, and lock medications to make inaccessible to residents. LPA observed smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors to be operational in the care home. First aid kit is maintained and ready for emergency use. Component III was completed. Application is pending and LPA will forward findings to the Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) for final review and approval. CAB will further contact applicant on final status of application. A copy of this report and LIC809G was provided to the facility. Exit interview conducted.
