Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

During document review, LPA discovered R1 was sent to the hospital on 11/30/2020 due to a medical concern. R1 returned to the facility the morning of 12/1/2020. On the evening of 12/1/2020, R1 was sent back to the hospital due to further medical concerns. On the morning of 12/4/2020, R1 returned to the facility. R1 was accepted back to the facility with a medical diagnosis. LPA did not discover evidence to collaborate that R1 was abandoned by the facility. Based on the evidence found during the investigation, the allegation listed above is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding that the complaint is UNSUBSTANTIATED means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. During today’s visit, no deficiencies were cited per Title 22, Division 6, of the California Code of Regulations. An exit interview was conducted, and this report was discussed and provided to Business Office Coordinator Jennifer Sanchez "Lazaro", along with a copy of the appeal rights.
