Include required health screening documents

Based on record review, a staff member did not have a health screening on file, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Ensure hazardous items are locked and not unattended

Based on observation, the licensee did not lock up or otherwise make inaccessible fabric softener, motor oil, and paint, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

First aid training requirements

Based on review of S1's and S2's file, the licensee did not ensure S1 and S2 have the required first aid training, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Based on review of 3's file, the licensee did not ensure R3's LIC 602 was updated at least annually, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Immediate disposal of contaminated food

Based LPAs review of food services and storage, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as the garage freezer contained several food items that had been repackaged with no dates and freezer burn which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Provide resident hot water for personal care

Based on LPAs testing of the hot water temperature the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as the hot water temperature recorded was 100 degrees which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
