Regarding the allegation of Staff did not follow-up with resident’s physician following emergency treatment, the Department found the following; based on interview, it was determined that staff were checking on R1 every 2 hours. R1 got annoyed with this and told staff he/she didn't want to be checked on anymore, it was "too much". Staff figured out different ways to continue to check on her without annoying her. Based on the investigation conducted the allegations are UNFOUNDED. A finding that the allegation is unfounded means that the allegation is false, could not have happened, and/or is without a reasonable basis. An exit interview was conducted with Luis Olivas and a copy of this report was left at the facility.
