What the inspector wrote

On 4/21/2025 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Holly Williams and Charlie Yang arrived unannounced to conduct an annual inspection. LPA Williams met with facility designated administrator (FDA) Manpreet Dhanoa and conducted a brief interview. LPA Williams reviewed six resident files (R1-R6) and three staff files (S1-S3). Hospice waiver for 6. Census is 6. LPA Williams toured the facility with Manpreet Dhanoa and inspected common areas, the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and backyard areas. Furniture and furnishings were sufficient to meet the needs of residents. The facility temperature was 71 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the required range of 68 and 85 degrees. The facility's water temperature measured 113.1 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the required range of 105 and 120 degrees. LPA Williams observed first aid supplies, a fully-charged and up-to-date fire extinguisher, and working carbon monoxide/smoke detectors. LPA Williams observed a minimum 2-day supply of perishable food and a minimum 7-day supply of nonperishable food. LPA Williams observed a locked cabinet for the storage of medication. LPA observed a Tupperware full of individually pre poured medication. LPA Williams observed locked cabinets for the storage of cleaning solutions and knives. [Continue 809-C] LPA Williams interviewed 1 staff member (S1) and 1 resident (R1). No deficiencies were cited during this visit. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was left with Manpreet Dhanoa. The following deficiencies were observed and cited on the following LIC 809-D pursuant to Title 22 Rules and Regulations, Health and Safety Codes.
