What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Valerio arrived unannounced to conduct an annual required inspection. LPA Valerio met with Administrator Francis, and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA observed the facility hired a carpet cleaning service for the entire home while other residents were at day program. According to the Administrator, the facility gets this service every three to four months. LPA Valerio observed the resident bedrooms to be clean, free from odors, and personalized to personal preference. Resident bathrooms were stocked with hygiene supplies. The medication cabinet, sharps, and cleaning supplies were observed to be locked and inaccessible to residents in care. The facility was observe to have an adequate food supply along with an emergency supply of food. No emergency exits were obstructed. The backyard was observed to have a large area for shaded visits or outdoor activities. The fire extinguisher was observed to be fully charged with its last annual inspection on June of 2025. Staff on shift were assisting residents with a lunch meal, preparing for residents to come home, and completing administrative task. No health or safety concerns were observed. LPA Valerio observed two (2) resident and two (2) staff files. Resident files were observed to have annual documentation. Staff files were observed to have required annual training. LPA Valerio requested the following annual documentation be sent to CCLASCPSacramentoSouthRO@dss.ca.gov: LIC 500, LIC 308, LIC 610, Surety Bond, and Copy of Liability Insurance No deficiencies were observed during today's visit. An exit interview was held, and a copy of this report was given to Administrator Francis.
