Pre-licensing visit·July 24, 2025

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Vincent Moleski arrived announced to conduct a prelicensing inspection. LPA Moleski met with applicants Damaris Kitene, James Kinuthia, Faith Ndegwa, Linda Njeri and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA Moleski conducted Component III orientation with the applicants. LPA Moleski toured the property with Kitene and inspected common areas, the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and backyard areas. Furniture and furnishings were sufficient to meet the needs of residents. The facility temperature was 76 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the required range of 68 and 85 degrees. LPA Moleski observed a fully-charged and up-to-date fire extinguisher, first aid supplies, and carbon monoxide/smoke detectors. LPA Moleski observed locking cabinets intended for the storage of medication. LPA Moleski observed locking cabinets intended for the storage of cleaning solutions and knives. LPA Moleski has no objections to licensure. This applicant has passed their prelicensing inspection. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was left with Kitene.
