Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 4/9/25 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Cynthia Tamayo and Kevin Gould arrived at Beyond Care for the purpose of conducting a change of license pe pre-licensing inspection. LPAs met with Administrator Antoniette Tin and Licensee Gloria Alejo and together conducted a tour of the home. There are no resident in care. LPA and Administrator evaluated the physical plant to ensure the health and safety of the residents in care. Areas inspected are including but not limited to the kitchen, resident bedrooms; resident bathrooms, living and dining room and outdoor areas. LPA observed the facility to be free of odor, clean and in good repair. LPA observed that all rooms are equipped with the required furniture and sufficient lighting throughout the facility. LPA measured the water temperature, temperature measured at 115.5 degrees F which meets the 105-120 degree Fahrenheit regulation. LPA observed sufficient seven day non-perishable and two day perishable food supplies. Fire extinguishers and smoke detectors are current and in compliance with fire safety. LPA notes the facility had the required carbon monoxide detectors. First aid kit was checked and is complete. LPA observed centrally stored medications secure from residents. Report continued on LIC 809-C Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22 there were no deficiencies observed or cited during today's inspection. Although the applicant has met all physical requirements to be licensed, the department requires clarification of the application as the location the facility being moved from, The Park at the Pocket, had the lease terminated in December 2024 and have not had access to that facility since December 2024. No notification of the lease termination was submitted to the department. The Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) will be reviewing the application to ensure there are no changes or additional documents required to ensure the application process is complete that the department requests and obtains all required documentation that me be required to complete the application process.
