What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Vincent Moleski arrived announced to conduct a prelicensing inspection. LPA Moleski met with applicant Wenxia Fong and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA Moleski conducted Component III orientation with the applicant. LPA Moleski toured the property with the applicant and inspected common areas, the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and backyard areas. The indoor temperature was 70 degrees Fahrenheit, which is within the required range of 68 and 85 degrees. The property water temperature measured 126 degrees Fahrenheit, which is not within the required range of 105 and 120 degrees. The property's water heater was adjusted during this visit. LPA Moleski observed first aid supplies, fully-charged and up-to-date fire extinguishers, and working carbon monoxide/smoke detectors. LPA Moleski observed locked cabinets for the storage of cleaning solutions, knives, and medication. LPA Moleski observed a fenced pool area which was not locked. Fong said she would get a lock to ensure the area remains inaccessible. LPA Moleski observed five beds and five sets of furniture, whereas Fong's application is for six clients. Fong said she would acquire the necessary furniture to accommodate a sixth client. LPA Moleski will return at a later date after corrections have been made. An exit interview was held and a copy of this report was left with Fong.
