What the inspector wrote

On February 18, 2006, at 1:45 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Avelina Martinez arrived announced to conduct a Pre-Licensing Inspection of the facility to ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations. LPA Avelina Martinez met with Kristine Aducayen and explained the purpose of the visit. The facility has a fire clearance for five non-ambulatory residents and 1 bedridden resident. The facility administrator’s certificate expires on August 19, 2026. LPA Martinez inspected the interior and the exterior of the facility including the common living spaces, resident bedrooms and bathrooms, and kitchen. LPA Martinez reviewed two staff files and two resident files, and the files were maintained. The facility has an infection control plan and a natural disaster plan. The facility Carbon detectors and smoke detectors are in good repair. The facility water temperature measured 110 degrees, and the facility temperature measured 76 degrees. The last fire drill was on January 21, 2026. The facility has a first aid kit, and has a locked cabinet for medication storage. The facility has a public phone, and area for activities. The facility has an adequate food supply. The facility has night lights, and all common rooms are furnished and sanitary. The laundry room is furnished and all toxins are stored in a locked room. The exterior of the facility is clear of debris. The facility has a furnished covered patio for resident use. The exterior emergency gate is in good repair and clear of debris. Component 3 has been waived. The applicant has previously completed component 3. The applicant has passed the pre-licensing component of the application process. LPA Martinez will notify the Central Application Bureau (CAB) that the pre-licensing inspection has been completed. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to the facility.
