Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Calzada arrived unannounced for a Post-Licensing Inspection and met with Mona Lee Bodden, who contacted the Administrator. Administrator, Claudia Mihai arrived at 3:00 pm. LPA observed (1) resident in the common area and (4) residents resting in their rooms. At the end of the inspection, (1) resident returned around 4:15 pm. The facility is approved for (6) non-ambulatory residents and room #2 was approved for two occupants by the local fire department. There is (1) resident currently under hospice care and (1) resident under years. LPA and the Administrator toured the interior/exterior of the facility including the common areas, resident bedrooms (5), resident bathrooms (2), kitchen, staff room and laundry/garage area. LPA observed the facility to be clean, in good repair and odor-free, and the bathrooms to have the necessary grab bars, slip-resistant flooring and hygiene products. There is sufficient 2+day perishable, including fresh produce, and and 7+day non-perishable supply of food. Hot water measured 114*F in the kitchen. LPA reviewed (2) resident files and (3) staff files. Files were organized contained current documentation. Staff are completed training as required, including First Aid/CPR and are cleared/associated. Administrator has current RCFE Administrator Certificate #7019737740 (exp 7/31/27). LPA to add cell phone and email address. Current copy of liability insurance obtained. LPA and administrator discussed a question about a resident who is a fall risk and is waiting for approval from the physician for a foot bed rail. Administrator will also request an exception as a next step. There were no deficiencies observed or citations issued in this report. Exit interview. Copy of report provided to the Administrator.
