What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Calzada arrived to the facility to conduct a scheduled Pre-Licensing Inspection on April 3, 2026 at 9:30 am. LPA met with Adam Dickey, Administrator and Kellie Welker, Administrator Designee. There is a pending application for a Level 5, RCFE facility, vendorized through the Regional Center, and there are currently (0) residents in care. The home has been recently remodeled in all rooms and the outside areas as well. Fire clearance has approved room #4 for a non-ambulatory resident and rooms #1,2 and 3 are approved for ambulatory residents. LPA and the Administrators toured the interior/exterior of the facility, including the common areas, (4) client bedrooms, (1) staff room, bathrooms, kitchen, office area, laundry and patio/backyard area. The facility was observed to be clean, newly remodeled, with new furniture and lighting throughout. Resident bathrooms have grab bars and skid-resistant flooring and hygiene supplies. LPA observed new dishes, glassware, flatware and cook ware in the kitchen and 7+days of non-perishable food. Toxins will be locked under the kitchen sink and in/near the laundry area. Sharps will be locked in the kitchen and medications will be secured in a closet with a electronic keypad. All client rooms have a locking mechanism in place and the all exit doors have alerts. There is sufficient linens/blankets/hygiene supplies. Smoke/monoxide alarms work and the fire extinguisher was last serviced 3/31/2026. Hot water measured 114*F in the kitchen. Land line number obtained. All required posting are visible in the common area. The backyard has lots of seating, fruit trees and a covered activity area. Resident and staff binders are organized. RCFE Administrator Certificate #7023412740 (exp 9/28/26). Comp III was completed during today's inspection . The Pre-Licensing is complete and this facility has no deficiencies. LPA to notify the analyst in the Centralized Applications Bureau Exit interview. Copy of report provided.
