What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cassie Yang arrived at the property to conduct a pre-licensing inspection utilizing the inspection tool. LPA met with Applicant and explained the purpose of the visit. There is no residents in care as this is an initial application for a residential facility for the elderly. Today's inspection, LPA and Applicant conducted a tour of the interior and exterior the facility. LPA observed facility to have three shared residents room, a staff office, bathrooms, kitchen, backyard and the common areas. LPA observed bedrooms to be fully furnished. LPA observed bathrooms to be equipped with grab bars, nonskid mats, hand soaps and paper towels. LPA observed kitchen to have designated space for medications, sharps and toxins which will be locked and inaccessible to residents in care. LPA observed exterior pathways to be clear and free of obstructions. It was discussed if Applicant wish to change office room (Room #4) to non-ambulatory resident room, Applicant will need to install fire door as advised by fire authority, and submit an updated facility sketch for Licensing to request a new fire clearance for Room #4. Comp III was completed. Inspection tool completed and found property to be fully compliance. Applicant has satisfied all requirements in accordance to per Title 22, California Code of Regulations. CAB will be notified accordingly of licensure.
