What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Calzada arrived announced to conduct a required Pre-Licensing Inspection and met with Jennifer Lee, and Farah Cuccia, Administrator. Also present with Business Office Manager, Sela Jennings and current Administrator, Brenda Cobos. The purpose of today's inspection is due to a pending change in ownership. The facility is licensed for (48) total residents, (40) of whom may be non-ambulatory and (8) may be bedridden. All residents have a diagnosis of Dementia. During today's inspection, all parties toured the interior/exterior of the facility including several resident rooms, medication room, dining rooms, main kitchen, activity rooms, staff lounge, and common areas. LPA observed the facility to be clean, in good repair and odor free. Several culinary staff were preparing lunch, and there is sufficient 2+day perishable, including fresh produce, and 7+day non-perishable supply of food. Hot water measured 117*F in a resident dining room. Fire extinguishers are placed throughout, were last serviced 3/13/2025, and the fire hydrant was last serviced in September 2025. There is an outside enclosed patio. There is no pool/fountains. Toxins and medications are secured. Resident and staff files are set up and organized. Medication Room is organized and there is electronic documentation. Required postings are visible in the common area. The facility generator needs to be serviced (last serviced in 2023) and requires that the permit be renewed. Fuel tank showed less than half of a tank during today's inspection. Component III was reviewed during today’s inspection. Pre-Licensing is complete. The facility is in substantial compliance,and this facility has no deficiencies. LPA to notify the analyst in Centralized Applications Bureau. Exit interview. Copy of report left at facility.
