What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Calzada arrived announced to conduct a Post-Licensing Inspection and met with Brenda Cobos, Administrator, and Jennifer Lee, VP. Also present with Business Office Manager, Sela Jennings. The facility is licensed for (48) total residents, (40) of whom may be non-ambulatory and (8) may be bedridden. All residents have a diagnosis of Dementia. LPA, the Administrator, the VP toured the interior/exterior of the facility including both dining rooms, main kitchen, activity rooms, staff lounge, and common areas. LPA observed the facility to be clean, in good repair and odor free. There is new flooring throughout. There is sufficient 2+day perishable, including fresh produce, and 7+day non-perishable supply of food. Hot water measured 114*F in a guest bathroom. The Fire department was here earlier this morning for an annual fire inspection. All egress doors were checked and found to be functioning correctly. Fire extinguishers are placed throughout, were last serviced 4/28/2026, and the fire hydrant was last serviced in September 2025. There is an outside enclosed patio with new landscape planned throughout. Toxins and medications are secured. Electronic medication system is used. LPA reviewed (2) resident and (2) staff files -files are organized and contained current documentation. Required postings are visible in the common area. There were no deficiencies observed and no citations issued in this report. Exit interview. Copy of report left at facility.
