What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sabrina Calzada arrived unannounced to conduct a case management inspection related to incident reports recently received. LPA met with Edith McCullough, Administrator Designee, and the stated reason for inspection. LPA and Administrator Designee discussed (2) recent incident reports for resident (R1). LPA spoke with a Med-Tech staff, the Administrator Designee and the resident (R1). LPA observed resident to be recovering from the unwitnessed incident where resident bumped her left eye brow and eye area. LPA and Administrator Designee spoke to (R1) and asked her how she is feeling and how the incident occurred. Resident was not sure but said she is feeling okay and had just finished her lunch. Resident indicated that staff at the facility are "nice" and helpful. LPA reviewed hospital discharge paperwork from 4/5/24 where resident was given she was given information for a wound and head injury. Staff say resident is doing fine and is eating independently. LPA and Administrator also observed another resident (R2) who was eating in the dining room, and checked her room. No concerns were noted. LPA spoke to (2) staff members regarding showers. There are no deficiencies cited in this report. Exit interview. Copy of report provided to Administrator Designee.
