What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hiratsuka, conducted this case management in response to an observation while investigating complaint 59-AS-20260401130616. Staff do not have training pertaining to lifting and transferring residents. One resident is using a Hoyer lift and there is no training for staff regarding the proper techniques of using the Hoyer lift. Deficiencies cited from the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 6 of California Regulation and California Health and Safety Code. Failure to correct the deficiency and/or repeat deficiencies within a 12 month period may result in civil penalties. Appeal rights were provided.
