Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hiratsuka arrived unannounced at the facility to conduct an annual inspection. LPA met with Administrator and explained the purpose of the visit. Today's visit, LPA and Administrator conducted a tour of the interior of the facility to ensure the health and safety of residents in care. Areas toured included but not limited to: five clients, staff room, laundry room, two bathrooms, kitchen, and the common areas. LPA observed facility to have adequate supply of linens. Two days of perishable and seven days of non-perishable foods observed. LPA observed medications, toxins and sharps to be locked and secured. LPA observed facility temperature to be cooled to a comfortable temperature. LPA observed facility to be clean, sanitary and in good repair. File review was conducted for two residents in care and two caregivers. LPA observed the required documents to be completed in file. LPA observed training documentation to be present. LPA observed presence of fire drills conducted quarterly. No deficiencies cited. Exit interview conducted and a copy of report was provided.
