Incidental Medical and Dental Care 87465. (a) A plan for incidental medical and dental care shall be developed by each facility.(6) When requested by the prescribing physician or the Department, a record of dosages of medications which are centrally stored shall be maintained..This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Licensee did not ensure that a accurate record of resident's medication were accurately maintained in the facility. R1,R2,R3 medication logs were not accurately recorded, CSMDR record was missing from R2 resident medication log, including inconsistencies in the start date and amount of medication on hand.

Food in damaged containers shall not be accepted, used or retained. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Licensee did not ensure that 7-day perishables dry and canned goods were of good quality. LPA Hughes observed canned and dry goods in the kitchen cabinet expired. Administrator agreed that expired canned goods and dry foods should be disposed of immediately.
