What the inspector wrote

(Continued from LIC9099) Based on interviews and records review, a preponderance of evidence does not exist to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the allegations is UNSUBSTANTIATED. An exit interview was conducted with Administrator Linda Cho, to whom a copy of this report and the Licensee/Appeal Rights (LIC9058 03/22) were provided. (Continued from LIC9099) Resident interviews revealed no concerns regarding medication administration; residents informed that their medications were administered timely and correctly. Based on interviews and records review, the preponderance of evidence has been met that alleged violation occurred, and is therefore substantiated. Deficiencies are cited per California Code of Regulations, Title 22 (refer to the attached LIC 9099-D). A Plan of Correction was jointly developed with the licensee. An exit interview was conducted with Administrator Linda Cho, to whom a copy of this report, and the Licensee/Appeal Rights (LIC9058 03/22) were provided.

This requirement was not met, as evidenced by: Based on records review and interviews, Licensee did not ensure prescribed medication was kept out of personal possession to a resident (R1). This posed a health and safety risk to 1 of 77 persons in care.
