What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Noel Wolf Petersen made an unannounced visit to this facility to conduct a Post Licensing visit. LPA met with enedina cortero and explained the purpose of the visit. Licensee currently has one resident living in the home. There are 5 bedrooms and two bathroom for clients. In addition, there is a staff room. LPA observed bedrooms to be properly furnished, with appropriate bedding and lighting. The bathroom was in sanitary condition, properly maintained and the hot water temperature was observed to be 105.8 degrees F. LPA checked the kitchen area for the ability to prepare and store food. LPA observed there to be a sufficient amount of perishable and non- perishable food supply on hand. LPA observed knives and toxins to be locked away and inaccessible to clients. LPA observe the backyard of the facility to be free of clutter and debris and there appeared to be no potential safety hazards to the clients. Smoke detectors are hard wired and operational and care home also has a carbon monoxide detector. Fire extinguishers dated 5/16/25 and first aid kit are maintained and ready for emergency use. LPA checked medication storage and found medication to be locked away and inaccessible to clients. LPA interviewed 2 of 2 staff, and 1 of 1 resident. LPA reviewed 2 staff files and 1 client file. No Deficiencies cited during this visit. Exit interview and copy of report given at the conclusion of this visit.
