What the inspector wrote

On January 23, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Noel Wolf Petersen arrived announced to conduct a Pre-Licensing Inspection of the facility to ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations. LPA Wolf Petersen met with facility administrator jomalyn verges. Facility has a capacity for 6 clients. The fire clearance is for 6 nonambulatory clients. Rooms 1, 2, 3, are allowed 2 clients per room. Jomalyn verges be the Administrator of this facility. The facility administrators certificate is current and expires on 1/14/27. LPA Wolf Petersen toured the facility with the administrator, interior and the exterior including the common living spaces, resident bedrooms and bathrooms, dinning room, and evacuation route. During today's inspection, the facility was sanitary and all common areas were furnished. Resident bedrooms and bathrooms were furnished and sanitary. The facility has a locked area for medication, sharps, toxics, and adequate storage for food(2 days perishable, 7 days nonperishable). In addition, the facility has a first aid kit, which is complete. bathroom water is delivered between 105-120*F. The facility had a fire inspection, and the facility was cleared. The facility fire extinguishers and carbon detectors are in good repair. fire extinguisher is dated 4/13/25. The facility has no large bodies of water. The exterior of the facility is in good repair. LPA gave guidance that some trash should be removed. LPA reviewed administrator files including the sample admission agreement, facility posters, evacuation plan, infection control plan, control of the property, and administrator certificate. documents are present and complete. The applicant will have passed the pre-licensing component of the application process when a copy of the administrators HIV training is sent to the LPA. LPA will notify the Central Application Bureau (CAB) when the pre-licensing has been completed and passed. Component 3 was conducted. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to the facility.
