What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analysts(LPAs) John Calandra and Kiran Jain met with facility representative to open the complaint received on 8.12.2024 and to deliver conclusionary findings for this complaint. LPAs were greeted by Ricardo Aban, Executive Director and explained the purpose of the visit. Regarding the allegation that staff spoke inapropriately to residents, LPAs Calandra and Jain interviewed residents. Through these interviews, the LPAs learned that it is not staff but other residents who are yelling inappropriate language and bad words at other residents and that staffing is not a problem at the facility. The agency has investigated the allegation that staff spoke inapropriately to residents. We have found that the complaint was UNFOUNDED, meaning that the allegation was false, could not have happened and/or is without a reasonable basis. An exit interview was conducted. This report was reviewed with Ricardo Aban, Executive Director and a copy of the report left at the facility.
